Plagiarism Policy

bitig Journal of Faculty of Letters requires that every article sent within the scope of publication ethics is subjected to plagiarism control. In this review process, the author of the article is expected to use one of the software, iThenticate, Turnitin or intihal.net. The report obtained from one of these programs by each author should be uploaded to the journal system during the article application process.

Except for the "References" section of the articles, the similarity rate should not exceed 25%. In this process, the responsibility belongs to the authors within the framework of ethical rules. The similarity rate reports are examined in detail by the Editorial Board, and the studies exceeding the specified rate are returned to the author. If any errors are detected in the reports, the authors may be asked to make corrections. However, editors can also check for plagiarism during or after the peer-review process.

These rules are deemed to be accepted by all authors who apply for the article.
