Kurdiname contains original scientific publications. All published articles are subject to a double blind peer review process, with the exception of Editorial, Translation and book review articles.

Purpose and Scope
The aim of Kurdiname Journal, which is under the field of social sciences, is to carry out comparative, multidisciplinary, academic and high quality studies on Kurdish society, especially Kurdish language, Kurdish literature, Kurdish history and Kurdish culture, education, sociology, psychology, etc. within the broad circle of Kurdology. Kurdiname journal aims to pave the way for researchers and academics to publish more in the field of Kurdology and to be a stepping stone for them to specialise in this field. Our journal aims to be instrumental in adding more and better quality studies on Kurdology to the field of science. Kurdiname Journal aims to publish articles from different countries in each issue, to be included in major international indexes in a short time and to publish a quality journal. For this purpose, it publishes original research articles, reviews, document articles, short articles, translation articles and book reviews.

Our journal is a double-blind peer-reviewed, open access and online journal. Articles should describe original data that have not been previously published or submitted for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts that are deemed suitable for the submission rules and the scope of the journal are sent to at least two referees who are experts in their fields for scientific evaluation. The members of the Editorial Board of Kurdiname Journal, who discuss the suitability of the manuscript, then take into account the comments of the referees on each submission. The final decision for all submitted manuscripts belongs to the Editor-in-Chief. The Editorial Board of Kurdiname Journal is committed to comply with the criteria of the International Council of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), World Association of Medical Editors (WAME) and Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Article Submissions
Submitted manuscripts must be appropriate to the purpose and scope of the journal. Manuscripts that have not been originally published and are not in the evaluation process in another journal, and whose content and submission have been approved by each author are accepted for evaluation.

Readership
The target audience is academics, researchers, undergraduate and graduate students in all fields of social sciences. It aims to contribute to the spread of continuous professional development and research culture.

Fee Policy
The publication of articles in the journal and the execution of article processes are not subject to any fee. No processing or submission fee is charged under any name for articles submitted to the journal or accepted for publication. Kurdiname journal does not accept sponsorship and advertisement in accordance with its publication policies. All expenses of Kurdiname journal are covered by the publisher.

The copyrights of the works published in Kurdiname Journal belong to their authors. Authors give permission for the intellectual work they submit to be published by Kurdiname under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) licence.

Originality of Articles
Kurdiname does not accept manuscripts previously published elsewhere. However, articles published in a foreign language can be processed for translation articles.
